Dinesh Sawant

Chief Operating Officer

Dinesh Sawant is Chief Operating Officer of Clutch Group. In this role, Mr. Sawant is responsible for overseeing the company’s global operations and developing protocols to make the company’s internal workflow and processes more efficient. His years of experience transitioning global functions to India for large clients across the world and evaluating the financial requirements associated with remote operations have been instrumental in helping him advise Clutch Group’s clients on their outsourcing initiatives.

Prior to joining Clutch Group, Mr. Sawant worked for Goldman Sachs as Head of Derivative Operations–Bangalore, where he managed a team supporting global operations for various derivative business units. The position involved evaluating various offshore business models and offshoring destinations across Asia and Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Sawant was part of the team responsible for creating the BPO operations at MphasiS. In this role, he held various responsibilities, including developing strategies for new service offerings, structuring engagement models for large-scale outsourcing projects and managing client relationships. He also established a NASD-registered brokerage house to initiate offshore-regulated brokerage operations.

Mr. Sawant has a mechanical engineering degree from the Government College of Engineering, Pune and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mr. Sawant was born and raised 100 miles from Mumbai in Pune, the “education hub” of India. He has lived and worked in 10 different Indian cities since that time. He currently lives in Bangalore with his wife and son. Outside of his work with Clutch Group, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess, soccer and various adventure sports and participating in various networking events related to his profession.
